You will start by spending a week travelling around Cuba to experience the wonderful diversity the largest island in the Caribbean has to offer. You will be able to experience the amazing culture the fabulous cuban countryside and not forgetting the nightlife, after all, in our opinion the Cuban’s are the best in the World at dancing and entertaining! Nothing could finish this wonderful tour better than a whole 7 days of pure relaxation on pristine white sands with turquoise clear seas lapping at your toes.
On arrival at Cayo Coco airport you will be transferred to Sancti Spiritus by road for dinner and an overnight stay.
After your breakfast, you will depart for Trinidad which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can visit the Palacio Cantero Museum and Canchanchara Bar where surrounded by Colonila Architecture you can sip a Cuban cocktail. Lunch will be taken in a local restaurant and then dinner will be in your overnight Hotel in Trinidad.
Today you will visit El Nicho Nature Park up in the mountains which is home to spectacular waterfalls and plenty of wildlife. Lunch will again be at a local restaurant and dinner will be at your Hotel in Trinidad.
In the morning you will travel to Cienfuegos briefly stopping at Santa Clara to visit the Ernesto Guevara Memorial Monument and the Tren Blendado Museum. Further on in Cienfuegos you can take a tour of the town which will include a visit to Tomas Terry Theatre. Lunch is in a local restaurant and dinner in your overnight hotel in Cienfuegos.
Travel to Guama to firstly visit the crocodile farm and also enjoy a boat ride through a Cuban Indian village. Take Lunch at a local restaurant and then continue on to the capital city, Havana, for your overnight stay.
After breakfast in your Havana hotel, you will tour the old and the modern Havana this will include visits to Arms Square, the Cathedral, Morro-Cabana fortress and Plaza San Francisco de Asis. You can then enjoy free time to explore more of the City, your lunch will be in a local restaurant. For the evening, there is an optional excursion to the world famous Tropicana Show, this is bookable and payable locally and is not included in the cost of the holiday.
Today enjoy a full day excursion to Vinales to see the scenic landscape, enjoy a boat ride through an Indian Cave and visit a cigar factory and a rum shop, lunch again is at a local restaurant. You will return to Havana for dinner and your overnight stay.
Your Classical Cuba Tour ends today and you will be transferred to Havana Airport for your flight to Cayo Coco. On arrival at Cayo Coco you will be transferred to your chosen beach hotel resort on either Cayo Coco or Cayo Guillermo to enjoy your final 7 days under the Cuban sun.
Hotels that you are able to twin with the Classical Cuba Tour are the Sol Cayo Coco and Melia Cayo Coco and the Iberostar Daiquari and the Melia Cayo Guillermo only. All are bookable through Cuba Holidays 4u.
The tour includes an Engilsh speaking guide, all transportation in air conditioned coaches or mini-bus (a taxi will be used if there are only 2 guests booked on the tour), all meals during the tour are included but please note that Vegetarian dishes are very limited and drinks are not included on the tour. The accommodation whilst on the Tour is basic tourist hotels in either double or twin rooms with private bath and shower. Entrance fees are included except for Tropicana Show.
Please also note that sometimes the tour has to be varied due to local conditions and on some ocassions the tour may be varied to that shown above. Subject to internal flight availability and if there are delays, guests may have to return to the Cayo’s by road on the last day of the tour. Luggage allowance on internal flights is a maximum of 20kg checked in baggage but you are also allowed 5kg in hand luggage per person.
