Iberostar Varadero

In our opinion, the 5* Iberostar Varadero is one of the very best Hotels in the area with it’s prime beachfront location.  The Iberostar Varadero projects an atmosphere of elegance and therefore is an ideal choice for those guests looking for a little more extra from their holiday.  Having personally stayed at this Hotel ourselves, we can highly recommend this Hotel for the cleanliness, service, quality of food and extremely helpful and friendly staff.

The Iberostar Varadero is situated directly on the beachfront and 14km from Varadero Centre, with Plaza America Shopping Centre and Nightclub a short taxi drive away.

Accommodation

Offering a total of 324 double rooms and 60 junior suites, the accommodation is light and spacious at Iberostar Varadero, the double rooms offer 1 King Size bed or 2 Queen Size beds, air conditioning, cable TV, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, mini bar, full bathroom facilities with balcony or terrace.  Junior Suites are slightly larger than the double rooms and rooms for sole use are available at a supplement.

Facilities

At the Iberostar Varadero you have a choice from 3 freeform swimming pools which consist of the main pool, spa pool and the activities pool, there is also 24 hour reception, mini market, room service, Gym with whirlpool, Wellness centre with sauna, massage and beauty parlour, children’s pool and playroom, plenty of sunbeds both around the pool and on the pristine white sandy beach with parasols and no need to pack towels as you towels for the pool and beach are available free of charge (some facilities incur extra fee payable locally).

Activities

There are plenty of activities to keep the more adventurous clients interested and entertained and include aerobics, archery, basketball, beach volleyball, billiards, football, kayaks, pedaloes, sailing, snorkelling, table tennis and tennis.  the Hotel Animacion Team will also keep you entertained both during the daytime and evening if you like to join in but will not pester you if you prefer to just relax.  Massage, beauty treatments and scuba diving are available at extra cost.  For the children there is a Hotel run kids club for children aged 4-12 years old, they have a children’s swimming pool, playground and playroom.

All Inclusive Restaurants and Bars

There is 24 hour All Inclusive available at Iberostar Varadero.  The All Inclusive includes buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner and for those who like to start the day slowly there is a ‘late risers’ continental breakfast available also.  There are 3 A la Carte Restauarants consisting of Japanese Manzoko Restaurant which was our favourite as you have an eating area surrounding an area for the talented Chef to perfom his  ‘show cooking’, Ambrosia Restaurant offering both Cuban and International cuisine, La Parilla offering International dishes and La Dorada Meditteranean Restaurant.  There is a beach snack bar which is located on the boardwalk between the Hotel grounds and the Beach, snack bar, lobby bar, swim up aqua bar and the disco bar.   You may take advantage of one reservation per week at each A la Carte Restaurant, snacks are served 24 hours and the room service is from 11am until 11pm.

Entertainment

At the Iberostar Varadero you will find a fun packed day with daytime entertainment provided by the Hotel Animacion Team and during the evening there are a variety of shows and the night club on offer.

What better place than to choose the Iberostar Varadero for your Cuba Wedding Ceremony.  Nothing is too much trouble for the Wedding Co-ordinator and there are many different locations to choose to have the ceremony from the Beach to the Hotel Grounds, whatever you decide you will not be disappointed with your most special day.  If you choose to get married in the UK and have your Honeymoon at the Iberostar Varadero, you will receive a bottle of sparkling wine and a romantic dinner for two in one of the A la Carte Restaurants.
