The Sol Cayo Coco also offers Family adjacent rooms which is two rooms next door to each other (not interconnecting) exclusively for 2 adults and up to 3 children which is available at a supplement.
Guests can also use the facilities of neighbouring Tryp Cayo Coco and the Sol Cayo Guillermo between 9am and 5pm daily (the bus to Sol Cayo Guillermo is extra charge payable locally).
Sol Cayo Coco offers a total of 270 rooms which consists of 220 double rooms with views of the natural surrounding environment, gardens or pool area, 64 double rooms with a balcony and sea view and 4 luxury appointed suites.
STANDARD ROOMOffers spacious comfortable accommodation with a balcony offering views of either the Gardens, Pool or virgin landscape. In the room there is Satellite TV, Air conditioning, Fully equipped bathroom, Safe, Fridge, Amenities Kit, Hairdryer and Telephone. Cots are available on request.
Located on the upper floors and at a supplement the Standard Room Sea View offers the same facilities as the Standard room but with a guaranteed Sea View.
Superior rooms are larger (approximately 32.5 square metres plus a 2 square metre terrace or balcony. The rooms provide a choice of 2 Queen Size beds or a King Size bed (subject to availability and on request on arrival at the Hotel). The rooms also have an additional desk with a table lamp and floor lamp and the superior rooms are decorated differently to the standard rooms with quality furniture and decor creating a perfect environment where comfort is guaranteed. The Superior rooms offer Satelite TV with 23 channels in different languages, Music channels, Safe, Telephone, Mini Fridge stocked with Mineral water on arrival, Minibar (additional charge), air conditioning, Bathtub and shower, hairdryer, Laundry Service (additional charge) Luggage service.
There are only 4 Suites so if you wish to experience the luxury of 60 square metres of space plus a 2 square metre balcony/terrace, you would need to book early. The Suites have the same facilities as the Superior Rooms but with the added luxury of a hydromassage bathtub in the bathroom.
Sol Cayo Coco provides Arcada buffet restaurant, Beach restaurant and an A la Carte Restaurant with International Cuisine (formal dress). You can also use the restaurants at lunch time of Sol Cayo Guillermo and Tryp Cayo Coco. Bars on offer are the Snack Bar which is situated in the Pool Area and open from 10am until 11pm daily, the Cuban Bar La Bodeguita which specialises in exotic cocktails and the 24 hour Lobby Bar, La Veranda which offers a wide range of international drinks, cocktails, hot drinks and snacks. There is also a beach bar and Disco Bar.
There are 2 pools with a children’s section at Sol Cayo Coco and the Hotel also offers an extensive daytime entertainment programme. The Hotel offers Tennis, Table Tennis, Beach Volleyball, Aerobics, Water Polo, Archery and Snorkelling included in the All Inclusive programme. For an additional charge you can hire Catamarans, Canoes, Water Bikes, or go Sailing or Windsurfing. There is also an international Diving School nearby, again payable locally. The Hotel also offers a Console Games Room with Wii and Play Station 3!
There is a Baby Club (0-4 years) and Mini club (5-12 years) available and the Hotel also has a Mini Disco.
For the Adults, there is also a Gym, Sauna, Whirlpool and Massage (payable locally).
Sol Cayo Coco offers excellent daily entertainment and also during the evening there are Shows and Live Music. the Hotel offers a Disco for Guests and twice weekly Cuban Music in the ‘Salsateca’ so you can Salsa the night away!
